About InfoSpatial

Practical geospatial expertise, built around your objectives.

InfoSpatial is a specialist geospatial consultancy that helps organisations turn complex spatial data challenges into clear, practical improvements.

Built from practical delivery experience

Helping established organisations get more from spatial information.

Many organisations already have extensive datasets, established systems and experienced teams. The challenge is often making those parts work together effectively.

Data may be inconsistent, workflows may depend on manual steps, standards may be unclear, or teams may not have the capacity to address long-standing problems. InfoSpatial helps turn those challenges into clear, practical improvements.

Founded on practical experience

A founder-led consultancy with wider team capability.

InfoSpatial was founded by Shane Kemp, a geospatial consultant with more than 10 years of experience across rail, defence, infrastructure, transport, research and survey environments.

His work has included national data delivery for safety initiatives, spatial data improvement and validation, standards and specification writing, GIS automation, derived data creation and technical delivery across complex programmes.

The wider InfoSpatial team adds further sector knowledge and delivery capability, allowing projects to draw on the experience they actually require.

How we work

Understand the context. Deliver something people can use.

01

Understand the starting point

Review the data, workflows, systems, responsibilities and constraints already in place.

02

Define the right outcome

Identify what needs to improve and what a useful result looks like for the organisation.

03

Deliver practical change

Create the data, standards, workflows or technical support needed to move forward.

04

Leave capability behind

Document the result, support handover and help teams become more confident and independent.

Start a conversation about your spatial data.
